Baytown’s Christmas Parade kicks off a holiday weekend getaway on Thursday, Dec. 3. Just 30 minutes east of Houston, celebrate the close of America’s 250th anniversary year with Stars, Stripes & Christmas Lights—featuring festive floats, community performances, and a special appearance by Santa Claus!
Experience the downtown tree lighting and parade arrival at Baytown Town Square at 6:30 p.m., then stay for opening night of Holiday Hangout. Keep the fun going at Holiday Hangout on Friday, Dec. 4, with outdoor roller skating, a new hay maze, yard games, festive lights, and holiday photo ops. (Holiday Hangout continues through Jan. 5!)
On Saturday, Dec. 5, shop and stroll a Holiday Market at the Christmas on Texas Avenue Festival, admire classic and vintage cars, and take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Book a Baytown hotel to make it a weekend filled with hometown charm and holiday memories!

Wicked Wine Run, March 13, 2027, makes Baytown the Houston-area spring stop for the nationwide Wicked Wine Run series, joining Dallas/Fort Worth, El Paso, and destinations across California, New York, Florida, and many more states.

Texian Rally Workshop
The Texian Rally is a two-day workshop hosted by the Texas Independence Trail Region. The event will take place in Baytown on November 12–13. The Hyatt Regency Baytown Houston will be the host hotel.

Day 1
Day One will feature field trips highlighting both Texas history and Baytown’s local heritage. Visit Baytown is collaborating with the San Jacinto Monument to provide an exclusive historical experience for attendees. Participants will also visit the Baytown Historical Preservation Association.
November 13, 2026
Day 2
Day Two will focus on workshops centered on historical and heritage tourism development. Sessions will be held at the Dirty Bay Event Center. During the day, attendees will break to tour the Baytown Historical Museum and experience the Sculpture Trail along Texas Avenue.
